What is RestaurantHQ?

RestaurantHQ is a Content Management System (CMS) built on the popular Drupal Framework/CMS. image It provides all the functionality of Drupal with over 40 thousand user contributed modules for everything from online polls, events calendar, forums, shopping carts and other modules.

RestaurantHQ provides additional modules specifically designed for restaurant websites. This includes a menu module for managing and dislaying restaurant menus and an online booking module for taking bookings online.

RestaurantHQ Menus

image RestaruantHQ menus allow creating of unlimited online menus. Menus can be switched on or off from the administration panel at any time. RestaurantHQ created a menus link in the site navigation bar on the front end of the website.

Menus can have unlimited courses. Menus have fields for name, price, take-away price (if required) and a description.

RestaurantHQ Online Reservation System

image The online reservation system allows website administrators to make bookings for customers. The system allows for the creation of service times for each day of the week and restaurant tables that the customer is booked for.

Restaurant tables have a unique name and a number of guests that can be seated at the table. When making a booking the system automatically assigns a free table for the booking. If no single table exists the system will asign multiple tables for the booking.
